Fees & insurance
Current session fees for each therapist and service are listed on our online booking page. Payment is accepted through our secure booking system, and you will receive a receipt after each session.
Psychotherapy provided by a Registered Psychotherapist is covered by many extended health insurance plans in Ontario. We do not bill insurers directly — you pay for your session and submit your receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Check your plan for "Registered Psychotherapist" or "psychotherapy" coverage.
Psychotherapy services are exempt from HST when provided by a CRPO Registered Psychotherapist.
Frequently asked questions
How do I book an appointment?
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Sessions are available in person at our downtown Toronto clinic or online (secure video) for clients anywhere in Ontario.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know you — your history, current challenges, and goals. Your therapist will answer your questions, explain how therapy works, and begin shaping a plan together with you. There is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is confidential within the limits of the law. Your therapist will review these limits (such as risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or a child in need of protection) with you in your first session.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens — if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible through the booking portal. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee; details are provided when you book.
Will my insurance cover my sessions?
Many extended health plans in Ontario cover services by a Registered Psychotherapist. Check your plan documents or ask your provider whether "Registered Psychotherapist (RP)" services are covered, and to what annual amount.
How long are sessions and how often should I come?
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes; couples and family sessions may be longer. Many clients begin weekly or bi-weekly and adjust the frequency with their therapist as they progress.
